TWO successful Worcester companies are in the running for a prestigious national business award.
Magic Whiteboard Limited was crowned the West Midlands’ Most Promising New Business and Bosch Thermotechnology named the winner of the Sustainability Award, at the regional stage of the British Chambers of Commerce Awards.
Both firms are now finalists in their category for the UK title in the Chamber Awards, which celebrate the UK’s most successful businesses.
Mike Ashton, chief executive of Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce, said it was a great achievement for the two companies. He said: "I know there was strong competition from across the West Midlands in these awards and it is great to see our companies get the recognition they fully deserve."
Magic Whiteboard has gone from strength to strength since securing £100,000 in funding from investors Theo Paphitis and Deborah Meadon on BBC TV's Dragon's Den.
