Young Entrepreneurs at Business Tournament

Over 300 young people from colleges and schools across Herefordshire and Worcestershire joined forces today at the Business Game Tournament held at Worcester Rugby Club. Students were set a challenege of making a product that will help identify safe eating rice from 3 different bags.

Teams had to pitch for 3 minutes to a panel of judges. Many had used Magic Whiteboard to present their ideas and concepts to the judges.

Neil Westwood from Magic Whiteboard was mentoring Evesham High School, the team produced a fantastic product and delivered a professional pitch to the expert judges from businesses in Worcestershire, including Worcester Bosch, Mazak and Coombers.

It was a really fun day, Cecel Duckworth OBE founder of Worcester Heating System gave an inspirational talk and encouraged the students to become engineers. The financial officer at Jaguar Land Rover also gave a rallying talk to motivate and inspire the students.

Magic Whiteboard is proud to be associated with the event and thinks it is a great way of getting students, teachers and businesses collaborating to create opportunities for young people in the future.
